Edition 7 – Winter 2020
We’ve officially relaunched the MCDS-Therapy clinical trial at both our UK sites! If that isn’t exciting enough, the first patient has been dosed with Carbamazepine down in London at The Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust! Our newsletter goes into more detail about the trial relaunched and presents a new research opportunity for those living with and caring for those with rare bone diseases.

Edition 6 – Autumn 2020
The sixth MCDS-Therapy newsletter announced an exclusive interview with Dr. Melita Irving about the MCDS clinical trial, as well as our return to social media (Twitter and Facebook) and what the MCDS-Therapy team has been doing behind-the-scenes to help relaunch the trial!

Edition 5 – COVID-19 Statement
The fifth MCDS-Therapy newsletter announced that the MCDS-Therapy clinical trial had to be halted due to COVID-19.

Edition 4 – Autumn 2019
The fourth MCDS-Therapy newsletter announced the recruitment of seven UK patients, put the spotlight on our Project Coordinator, Professor Mike Briggs, and introduced our collaborative workshop – Diving into Drug Repurposing.

Edition 3 – Summer 2019
The third MCDS-Therapy newsletter announced three UK patients had been recruited into the trial and put the spotlight on our health economics team and the work of ERN-BOND.

Edition 2 – Spring 2019
The second MCDS-Therapy newsletter announced recruitment into the UK clinical trial, explored the role of a clinical trials unit (CTU) is all aspects of clinical research, and shared some of the important connections you can make in the world of MCDS and rare diseases.

Edition 1 – Winter 2018
The first MCDS-Therapy newsletter introduced MCDS and MCDS-Therapy, explored what a biomarker is and why we’re trying to discover one, and shared what happened at our first annual meeting in Bologna.
